Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m a product designer, with a love of all things art and design. Everything from tinkering with UI details at Conduktor to making my own jewellery, or painting at home. When I’m not home, I love travelling. I especially love exploring Asia - I did my year abroad in Seoul, South Korea, and I’ve been wanting to go back ever since.

I grew up around a mix of cultures. My mum is Russian and so that meant hearing two different languages growing up. This formed an interest in languages, which is what I went on to study at university. During this degree, and on my year abroad, I discovered the world of design. Korea really puts an emphasis on good design, you can see it wherever you go - on the train, on street signs, on book covers… It’s hard not to get inspired. I had always been an arty kid, so when I started to learn more about design, and all the career possibilities I found myself getting really excited.
What’s your role at Conduktor?
I’m a Product Designer, I work with the design team on our platform’s UX/ UI. We make sure the product is functional, easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. Recently I’ve been working on product features like Chargeback, and the Notification and Alerting systems. And when I’m not working on bigger projects, I’m nerding out on our Design System.
Why did you decide to apply to Conduktor?
I decided to apply because I found both their product and mission exciting. Not only did they have a beautiful brand, but they carried it through into their product design language well. I felt that there would be many opportunities to learn from the team and grow as a designer at Conduktor.
What’s the best thing about working at Conduktor?
The people are my immediate answer. I really enjoy coming into the office and working with everyone. There is a definite sense of willingness to collaborate, and I have always felt supported and inspired to do my best work.
What advice do you have for people aspiring to work in Product Design?
There are many paths to the same goal. I didn’t follow the traditional path in becoming a designer, so don’t feel you have to either. Just be passionate, open to feedback and always trying to learn more - you will go far.
Are you a cat or a dog person?
Definitely cat.
